Invisalign® is a clear aligner system designed to straighten teeth in as little as 7 weeks! Unlike fixed braces, there are no wires or brackets. Therefore, they contain no metal and they’re nearly invisible when you wear them. This means that you can carry on living your life as normal; without making it obvious that you’re undergoing any type of orthodontic treatment.
Invisalign® can treat a range of orthodontic cases, from small cosmetic alignments, to more severe cases – the treatment can also cure under or over-bites; by manipulating your jaw throughout the process.
Here at Harwood Dental, you can come in for a consultation and preview what your new smile could look like with Invisalign®. In the space of 20-30 minutes you can gain an understanding of how the clear aligners will move your teeth and show you an animation of the process.
Invisalign® uses a virtual 3D treatment plan which shows the series of movements your teeth are projected to go through over the course of the treatment. This enables you to see what your teeth are expected to look like when the treatment is finished and monitor changes as you go.
Yes, a number of our Invisalign® patients have previously had braces. Many of them weren’t happy with the results, or didn’t wear their retainers following treatment. Invisalign® is the perfect orthodontic solution to straighten your teeth discretely and effectively.
As mentioned above, you’ll need to wear retainers to hold the position of your straight teeth for a certain period of time. We also offer free teeth whitening & shaping included in many of our Invisalign® treatment packages.
During your visit, your dentist will outline the options available to suit your needs and budget, as well as providing you with a bespoke treatment plan. We understand the importance of making our dental care available to everybody – that’s why we offer finance options, to spread the cost of your treatment and monthly plans, to cover the cost of your routine dental care.
